We are currently seeking a qualified Youth Care Specialist to join our team in Tiverton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Compensation Package:

  • We offer a competitive salary of £24,793 - £26,083 per annum, based on a 36-hour workweek.
  • In addition to your base salary, you may earn up to £30 per hour for sleep ins, depending on the number of hours worked.
  • You will also receive 224 hours of annual leave, equivalent to approximately 5.6 weeks off per year.

About the Role:

This position involves working in a fast-paced residential setting, where you will be responsible for supporting the daily needs of our residents. This includes assisting with personal care, managing medication, and engaging in activities that promote socialization and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the past two years.
