We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions and elective post-operative orthopedic cases.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, AHPS, and consultants, to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation strategies, ensuring patients achieve their optimal level of health and wellbeing.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism within the department.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to professional, clinical, and integrated governance standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Demonstrable evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
  • Working knowledge of the UK private healthcare market and experience of orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Strong MSK skills, with experience of planning rehabilitation strategies for return to sports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.
  • Competency in using electronic record systems for note-taking.
