As a key member of the production team, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality products that meet our specifications. You will work closely with engineers to interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and utilize your expertise to fabricate and assemble metal components efficiently.

**Salary:** £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description
The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for working with metal. This role involves:
• Fabricating and assembling metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Performing stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely
• Operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal pieces
• Conducting quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards

Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in welding, particularly with stick welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is highly desirable
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to metalwork
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks
