Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims
  • Completing site visits for residential and commercial building projects
  • Delivering small to medium design projects
  • Ensuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business development
  • Reporting to the Associate Director and providing progress reports
  • Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • 2 years post graduate design experience
  • A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCad and Revit
  • Working towards chartership - MICE or MIStructE
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring great customer service
  • Excellent work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to support the company growth
  • Passionate about new technologies, progressive change and continuous improvement
  • Car owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to site
