Job Title: Planner Buyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planner Buyer to join our team at Dover Fueling Solutions in Dundee, Scotland. As a Planner Buyer, you will be responsible for managing specified commodities, positioning the right quantity of parts in the right place at the right time, and supporting the production and planning teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase order management, including placing POs and processing order acknowledgements
  • Developing supplier relationships and supporting the roll out of new interactive reporting tools
  • Liaising closely with internal departments to resolve shortage issues
  • Coordinating collections at suppliers with approved logistics partners
  • Resolving goods receiving queries, invoice hold issues, quality return issues, and supporting ECO processes
  • Utilizing Oracle system to execute standard work activities in a timely manner
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement tasks and projects as requested and championing change

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Buyer role or similar fast-paced environment
  • Oracle experience preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement is an advantage
  • Competent MS Office applications user, especially Excel
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Dundee, Scotland
