Role Overview:
This role involves working as a Teaching Assistant in various settings, supporting learners aged 4-19 with SLD/PMLD and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will work collaboratively with the staff team under the direction of the School Leadership Team, Class Teacher, or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to ensure effective teaching and pupil's learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide learner support, responding to diverse needs and delivering challenging learning opportunities appropriate to their developmental levels.
- Collaborate with the Class Teacher, HLTA, and other school professionals to plan and implement best practices meeting individual learner needs.
- Assist in planning, organising, and resourcing learning activities promoting communication and independence.
- Monitor and assess learner progress, using ICT effectively, and maintain records consistent with school systems.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with SLD/PMLD/ASC is an advantage.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills are essential.
- A creative, enthusiastic, imaginative, and caring approach to working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is required.

Working Conditions:
