We are seeking an experienced Strategic Land Development Manager to join our team
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of clients across the UK, including local authorities, developers, and landowners.
As a Strategic Land Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading land promotion, securing allocations for housing and commercial development, and managing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead land promotion, securing allocations for housing and commercial use.
- Assist in planning applications and manage appeals where necessary.
- Review site layouts and constraints, ensuring planning assumptions are feasible.
- Oversee Reserved Matters planning applications and planning conditions.
- Track conditions, manage payments, and provide project oversight.
- Appoint and manage external consultants.
- Monitor Local Plan documents and assess competitor activity.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders.
- Develop planning strategies and evaluate development options.
- Produce progress reports and manage project budgets.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in land development or a related field.
- Degree in land development or a related field.
- Professional accreditation available.
- A full driving license.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
