Mechanical Engineer

**Job Title:** Mechanical Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Astute's Power team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining mechanical assets across our Gas Fired Power Station in the Southeast of England.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Fault finding, inspecting and maintaining mechanical assets, including pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, and pipework.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records using our CMMS system.
• Supervising and directing contractors.
• Assisting with day-to-day planning, outage planning, and coordination of contract support organizations.
• Ensuring HSE compliance at all times.

**Requirements:**

• A relevant engineering or technical qualification at level 3 as a minimum (City & Guilds / NVQ).
• Ideal qualifications include ONC / HNC / HND in a Mechanical engineering field.
• IOSH or NEBOSH certification is desirable.
