Job Summary

A high-calibre Marine and Energy Liability Underwriter is required to join a dynamic team at Insight Recruitment Solutions, based in London. This exciting role offers the opportunity to develop and expand the company's Marine portfolio and Energy Liability offering.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced underwriter with a proven background in Marine and Energy Liability, including knowledge of mid-layer and high excess insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong broker network and be looking to take on a senior role within a growing insurer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering business strategies to drive growth and meet income targets
  • Underwriting and managing a book of Marine and Energy Liability risks, developing relationships across the market
  • Collaborating with the senior team to drive strategy and development of the Marine and Energy Liability book

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in Marine and Energy Liability underwriting
  • Strong knowledge of mid-layer and high excess insurance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

We estimate that the salary for this position will be £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
