Job Title: Gas Quality Inspector

CV Library is seeking a skilled Gas Quality Inspector to join our team on a temporary assignment in Enfield.

This is a full-time role that requires technical expertise and quality assurance skills to ensure domestic gas servicing, repair, and heating replacement programmes meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Audit and inspect gas repair and installation works across the housing portfolio, including capital projects, new builds, and regeneration schemes.
  2. Provide technical advice on domestic gas boilers, hot water, heating systems, and ground source heat pumps.
  3. Conduct surveys and inspections to develop feasibility studies and business cases for asset investment.
  4. Act as Contract Administrator for small projects up to £50,000.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in a similar role within social housing or residential environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations and British Standards.
  • GCSEs in English & Maths or equivalent.
  • Ability to draft technical specifications and knowledge of heating systems, including ground source heat systems.
