Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Amspec. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other staff.
  • Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Respond to and resolve any issues or challenges that arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and building codes.
