Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:
Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Yard Operative to join their busy client in a Builders Merchants / Building Supplies environment. The successful candidate will have a Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points. This is a full-time permanent role offering a great opportunity to work with a company that values its staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Picking orders (80% Yard work)
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Checking goods in
• Operating counterbalance
• Providing excellent customer service to customers who come into the yard and receiving deliveries
• Going out to do deliveries in the Van (20% Van Driving)

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a builders merchant
• No more than 6 points on licence
• A minimum of 2 years yard operative experience
• Counterbalance forklift experience is preferable but not essential
• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing
• Physically fit
• Health and safety conscious
• Reliable and a hard worker
