About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economic Strategist to join our team at The Economist. As a key member of our analysis team, you will provide strategic and high-quality economic and analytical advice to our Ministers and senior officials.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide economic and analytical advice to shape the allocation and impact of Official Development Assistance (ODA)
  2. Lead the Analysis Directorate, building an innovative, insightful, and influential analytical heartland in our HQ
  3. Work closely with counterparts in other international organisations and foreign governments to build an international community that draws on the best evidence and analysis

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in economics and analysis, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
