Teaching Assistant Role

You will be required to support staff and students in various ways, including special needs support and exam invigilation.

The key responsibilities include providing intervention support and helping within the classroom, maintaining a calm and consistent learning environment, and working with small groups of students. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain more experience in a classroom environment before pursuing further education.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 & above, up to date Safeguarding training, and up to date Prevent training. You must also hold a Right to Work in the UK and have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service. A minimum of two references covering the last 2 years is also required.

Job Description:

This role involves supporting staff and students in a variety of ways, including special needs support and exam invigilation. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to maintain a calm and consistent learning environment and provide intervention support to students as needed. You will also be responsible for working with small groups of students to help them achieve their academic goals. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on students' lives.
