Fire and Security Maintenance Engineer

Clymac, a leading provider of fire and security systems, is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Manchester.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fire and Security Maintenance Engineer to maintain and service our fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs, as well as attending emergency breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
  • Attend emergency breakdowns on fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
  • Deliver a high level of service to our customers
  • Identify and resolve system faults
  • Carry out small system modifications and upgrades as required
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
  • Hold relevant industry qualifications
  • Have proven experience in maintaining and servicing fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Be proficient in fault finding and problem-solving
  • Have a full, clean UK driving license
  • Be flexible and able to work on-call or overtime as required
  • Possess strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients
