About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure efficient delivery of goods to customers
  • Ensure premises, assets, and communication channels are used effectively to optimize logistics procedures
  • Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures and improve productivity
  • Coordinate delivery schedules to maximize productivity and reduce costs
  • Monitor and report on transportation costs to ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders and ensure shipping documents are in order
Requirements
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination within a busy distribution operation
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics software and other IT packages such as Excel
  • Strong coordination and project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A keen eye for detail
