About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer to join our team as a Neuro-Oncology Imaging Expert. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Radiographer to take on a key role in our department.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have recent clinical experience at senior level, including IMRT and IGRT experience. They will be responsible for assessing and teaching senior and junior staff and undergraduate students, as well as developing staff clinically and professionally. The ideal candidate will also have experience of undertaking clinical audits and surveys, and be able to identify and manage challenging issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a wide multi-disciplinary team
  • Attend new patient clinics, supporting the patient through their radiotherapy journey
  • Take responsibility for the management, leadership, and development of the pathway
  • Cover one day a week clinically to maintain and develop your clinical competencies
  • Escalate and triage queries to the wider MDT
  • Opportunity to audit and present findings at meetings
  • Take on the key worker role for the duration of the radiotherapy pathway
Requirements
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of or working towards further professional development and qualification
  • Attendance of recent relevant post-graduation courses and study days
  • Evidence of relevant MSc level study
  • Non-medical prescribing
Salary

An estimated salary for this role is around £54,000 - £60,000 per annum.
