The successful candidate will play a vital role in inspiring and guiding 16-19 year old students through their GCSE English course, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their English GCSEs and develop key English skills for everyday life.

About the Role:

  • Teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
  • Devising effective training materials, including online resources.
  • Admin tasks, providing reports and statistics on student and teaching matters.
  • Monitoring student enrolment, success rates, and taking remedial action where necessary, including final assessments.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher with relevant GCSE / Functional Skills / ESOL teaching and assessing experience, a Level 3 qualification in a related subject, and the ability to manage challenging behaviour in the classroom or online.
