Job Overview: As a Financial Settlements Specialist, you will be responsible for managing financial settlements, ensuring accurate and timely payments. You will work closely with the team to maintain client and company accounts, reconciling transactions on Xero and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and maintain client and company accounts.
  • Verify funds coming in from clients.
  • Process payment sheets and make payments to brokers.
  • Ensure source of funds are approved by compliance.
  • Track debts and chase for funds not received from clients.
  • Reconcile client and company accounts on Xero and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain reports such as the Margin Report, Unpaid Monies Report, and Open Case Report.
  • Authorise payments.
  • Obtain copies of SWIFT messages for incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Record funds transferred between companies.
  • Control and reconcile returned currency from brokers.
  • Verify 3rd party payments are approved by Compliance.
  • Set up and process payments to clients.
  • Update Xero and online trade platforms.
  • Collect client payment details and add them to the trade platform.
