SCADA Engineer Job Description

Enzen Global is a leading knowledge enterprise specializing in energy and water solutions. We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems and networks.
  • Implement and troubleshoot SCADA communications and IT telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain standards, practices, procedures, and policies for SCADA, SCADA network, and SCADA telecommunications processes.
  • Provide SCADA and Telemetry support and work with IT infrastructure on system issues and upgrades.
  • Develop/updates custom application functionality, understands and supports external system interfaces.
  • Build, modifies, tests, and designs screens/mimics, database records, and create/modify structure text programming in SCADA to add new operations functions.
  • Support troubleshooting control equipment by providing diagnostic information to the field.
  • Participate in providing training to customers as required.
  • Prepare Excel-based reports based on incident severity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with leading SCADA packages such as Schneider ClearSCADA/SCX Wonderware, GE Power On, ABB SCADA, and/or Telvent.
  • Understanding/Setting up of PLC/SCADA interface.
  • Networking knowledge.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Certification on Networking is a plus.
