Job Title: Mental Health Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you will be working closely with our experienced staff to provide support to children with SEMH, SEN, ASD, and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
  • Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
  • Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
  • Keeping track and recording pupil progress.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain valuable experience working in a school setting. You will be working with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing the best possible support to our students.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child development and be able to communicate effectively with children and staff. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
