Job Description

Holt Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence of our client's equipment.

Your primary responsibilities will include machine diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. You will work on a variety of heavy plant machinery, including excavators, bulldozers and cranes. In addition to your technical expertise, you will also provide top-notch service solutions to customers.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to diagnose complex problems and develop effective solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, axles, transmissions, and cam-bus electrical systems. They will also be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

This position offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £41,000 per annum, with overtime paid at time and a half for the first 4 hours and double time thereafter. Our client also offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, tool allowance, company sick pay scheme, death in service scheme, contributory private medical health insurance, company van and fuel card, and call-out with standby payment and guaranteed 4 hours overtime.

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a Full UK driving licence and have experience in construction, HGV, or agricultural heavy plant machinery sectors. NVQ Level 2, 3 or equivalent is preferred, but not essential.
