Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Personal Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy with learning difficulties. The successful candidate will provide assistance and care when accessing activities in the community, as well as support in maintaining a safe and progressive family environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the individual to the park, school, and other community activities
  • Provide support with daily tasks, such as school runs and shopping
  • Assist with playing and exercising, as well as ensuring safety when out and about
  • Accompany the family on trips out, such as school runs, shopping, and day trips

Requirements:

  • Reliable and trustworthy individual
  • Ability to work alongside the family and provide support as needed
  • Flexibility and understanding in covering other PA's hours when on holiday or off sick
  • Own transport may be needed on occasions

Working Hours: 16 hours per week, casual

Rates of Pay: Meets NMW, plus 40p per mile
