Job Title: Control Systems Software Engineer

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Control Systems Software Engineer to join our team. As a Control Systems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions for SCADA systems and other high-level control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Specify, design, and test solutions for SCADA Systems and other high-level control systems
  2. Develop/Programme SCADA software from multiple design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts and Pseudo Code
  3. Develop high level software to integrate with the SCADA solutions
  4. Validate software designs through analysis and test and produce technical documentation
Requirements:
  1. Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline e.g. C&I engineering, Systems engineering, Software Engineering
  2. Experience with the design and integration of complex, large-scale SCADA control systems using Siemens WinCC or GE (Cimplicity, iFix, Proficy) (preferred) and/or AVEVA (Wonderware) Intouch/System Platform.
  3. High level system interfacing and database configuration
  4. Software development lifecycles, processes and procedures
  5. Understanding of testing and commissioning

We offer a competitive salary of £53,000-£76,000 and a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days a week on-site typically and occasional travel to client site(s).
