Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Fire & Security Engineer to join our team at PPM Recruitment. As a Mobile Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out small-works installation, preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance of fire and security infrastructure systems in commercial, corporate, and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire and security infrastructure systems, including access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of fire and security systems.
  • Working as part of a call-out rota to respond to emergency situations.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure that all fire and security systems are properly maintained and updated.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and further training commensurate with a Fire & Security Technician, such as FIA Units 1, 4, and 5.
  • Experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire and security infrastructure systems in commercial, corporate, retail, and industrial environments.
  • Driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • Ability to work as part of a call-out rota.
  • Up to £38,000+ overtime.
  • Company vehicle, such as a Ford Transit Van or equivalent.
  • Pension and healthcare schemes.
  • Overtime.
  • Paid call-out standby retainer.
