About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our team. As an experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGV/LGVs to ensure they comply with legislative requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGV/LGVs, including oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with HGV/LGVs.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage stock levels of parts and materials.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
  • Prior experience with HGV/LGVs and strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
