About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and staff.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities, and support their progress towards key milestones.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
