Job Title: Biology Instructor

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Biology Instructor to join our team at Protocol Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, maintaining student progress records, and providing support for form students' development and overall progress as a form tutor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the school's curriculum standards
• Maintain student progress records
• Provide support for form students' development and overall progress as a form tutor
• Contribute to the raising standards of student achievement
• Manage student behaviour according to the school policy and reporting any issues or concerns to senior staff

Requirements:

• Possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Graduate in Science or a related discipline
• Experience teaching science in a secondary (KS3/KS4/KS5) classroom environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Science syllabus up to AS/A2 level
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about supporting children with various abilities in a positive education environment
• Can demonstrate problem-solving skills when facing challenging situations
• Must have, or be willing to, undergo an enhanced DBS check
• Committed to ensuring the safeguarding of young people
