We are recruiting for a Locum Mental Health Pharmacist to work full-time (5 days per week, Monday to Friday) or part-time, covering multiple sites across Surrey. This exciting opportunity is available to start in December 2024 and offers an initial contract duration of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension.

About the Job:

This role involves working on a Medicines Management Project, focusing on medicines management support across multiple mental health wards. You will be required to review and manage the safe and effective use of medication for patients with mental health conditions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice on medicines management to multidisciplinary teams.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of a Medicines Management Project.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in mental health ward settings is essential.
  • Previous NHS experience is highly desirable.
  • UK registered pharmacist qualification is required.
  • Travel to multiple sites across Surrey is necessary.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Band 8a level experience or equivalent is required.

Salary Details:

The hourly rate for this position is £33 - £37 per hour, paid via Umbrella.
