Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Renal Care Team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in renal nursing, working with a friendly and committed team. Main Responsibilities

The main duties of this role include maintaining a professional behavior, promoting a positive image of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, and ensuring high standards of evidence-based care. You will be responsible for the unsupervised assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive nursing records, collecting data, and providing essential information in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a First Level Registration, evidence of recent and ongoing professional development, and post-registration experience working in an acute hospital setting. You should have a sound knowledge of infection control standards and demonstrate understanding of the importance of audit/quality. You should also have the ability to plan and prioritize workload, communicate effectively, and supervise registered and unregistered staff.
