Job Title: Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG business. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation solutions using PLCs, robotics, and other industrial automation technologies
  • Implement and commission automation systems, ensuring smooth integration with existing manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, working closely with electrical engineers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Recognized engineering qualification (electrical) and relevant industry experience
  • Proven track record of working with PLCs, robotics, and other industrial automation technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
