Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process for drainage systems across various rail projects, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and timelines to consistently meet client expectations and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive drainage designs and assessments, guaranteeing accuracy and quality through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proactively identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by actively participating in bid preparation and tendering processes.

Your Qualifications:

  • Chartered Engineer status with a proven track record of success in railway design projects.
  • Extensive experience in drainage engineering roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of hydraulic design principles and relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing industry-standard design tools and software.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations and risk assessment processes, ensuring compliance and safety throughout project lifecycles.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
