This permanent role involves teaching swimming to customers at various centres, covering weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. To be suitable for this position, you should hold a Swim England Level 2 Qualification in Teaching Swimming or a similar certification and possess experience teaching diverse groups. As a Swimming Teacher, you will lead sessions effectively, drawing on your knowledge of teaching best practices and your passion for student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans and a comprehensive scheme of work that meets the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme requirements.
- Deliver sessions according to the programme timetable, ensuring classes start and finish at designated times.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers, putting people at ease with a positive attitude.
- Comply with the Swim England Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct at all times, referring any child safeguarding concerns in a timely manner according to Fusion's Safeguarding policy.
- Ensure all lessons are delivered safely and effectively, adhering to regulations and guidance.
- Maintain a passion for improving the swim lesson programme and enhancing the service to swimmers and customers.
