Job Title: HGV Refuse Driver

We are seeking a skilled HGV Refuse Driver to join our clients team in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a range of cleansing equipment, including LGV refuse collection vehicles, mechanical sweepers, and loading shovels.
  • Operate a works-issued mobile telephone, digital tacograph equipment, and in-cab communication systems.
  • Provide efficient and effective refuse/recycling collection services, removing household waste, bulky goods, industrial and commercial refuse, co-mingled waste, and garden waste from various locations.
  • Monitor progress, report problems, and ensure work is completed within time, quality, and standard.
Requirements:
  • LGV Cat C driving license.
  • Ability to carry out driving and labouring work.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using digital tacograph equipment.
  • 35 hours training and certificate of professional competence certification.

Please note that this is a temporary position, and we cannot guarantee a permanent contract. Interviews and inductions will take place at the Proactive Personnel Blackburn office. If successful, you will have an induction with our client at their depot. Full PPE will be issued once you have received a start date. Full Drug & Alcohol tests will take place before you start.
