Manual Tester – 12 Month Contract – Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35) – London – Investment Banking

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our team at Intec Select, a leading recruitment agency in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing within the financial services sector and hands-on experience with OPF (Open Platform Framework). In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of banking systems through meticulous manual testing. You will work closely with development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of financial applications and systems, including functional, regression, and system testing to ensure adherence to quality standards. Execute test plans, document test results, and identify, log, and track defects to ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure effective testing coverage. Maintain and update testing documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect logs, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Manual Testing Expertise: Proven experience in manual testing, particularly within the financial services sector or investment banking.
  • Testing Tools: Familiarity with common testing tools and platforms for defect tracking and test management.
