Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our team as an Assistant Caretaker at Edith Borthwick School. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of assignment lasting from 3 months upwards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Caretaker in various duties, including car park maintenance, site security, cleaning, small maintenance jobs, and liaising with contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out car park duties to ensure safe access for staff and students
  • Secure the site at the end of each day and lock up premises
  • Maintain cleanliness of school facilities
  • Perform small maintenance tasks as directed by the Caretaker
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure smooth operation of school services

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic
  • Experience in a trade or similar role desirable
