Key Responsibilities

As a Fabric Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on automated machinery, documenting all maintenance work using a computerised maintenance management system, and providing technical advice and support during breakdowns.

You will also develop and execute preventative maintenance plans to minimise downtime, breakdowns, and enhance machinery efficiency, assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food safety regulations, including BRC standards.

Ideal Requirements
  1. NVQ Level 3 multi-skilled apprenticeship (electrically biased).
  2. Experience working with PLC and SCADA control systems (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc).
  3. FMCG experience, ideally within the food sector (desirable).
  4. Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
