The Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of various Sainsbury's refurbishments and fitouts in the South. As a key member of our site management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all works are completed to specification, within budget, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel and stakeholders.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress to the project team and stakeholders.
- Site Management: Oversee the management of onsite labour, including inductions, toolbox talks, and quality inspections.
- Programme and Budget Management: Monitor and control project programmes and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality inspections and snagging to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Materials Management: Oversee the ordering and receiving of materials to ensure timely delivery and quality.
Requirements
- SMSTS: Hold a valid Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
- CSCS: Hold a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- First Aid: Hold a valid first aid certification.
- Strong Construction Industry Knowledge: Possess a strong working knowledge of the construction industry, including experience of working on similar projects with similar project values.
