Instrumental Music Educator

**About Warwickshire Music**
We are the principal provider of music education in Warwickshire, teaching over 12,000 pupils each week. Our team offers instrumental, vocal, and class music teaching in schools, community music centres, and provides a wide range of ensembles and music groups for children and young people across the county.
We are looking for a guitar and/or ukulele specialist to join our team as an instrumental music educator. As a key member of our team, you will teach whole-class and individual lessons up to 7 hours per week in East and North Warwickshire. Teaching will take place during the school day, with some teaching expected at Area Music Centres up to 6:30 p.m.
Our teachers are expected to be committed, enthusiastic musicians and educators who can inspire pupils and communicate effectively. You will be organised, skilled, and confident in using technology, receptive to new ideas, ambitious for your own professional development, and able to work independently and as part of a team dedicated to the musical development and safeguarding of children and young people.
**Key Requirements**
- Ability to teach guitar and/or ukulele to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Experience in whole-class and individual teaching practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
**Salary:** £21.16 - £31.60 per hour (dependent on experience) or up to £36.52 per hour for whole-class teaching delivery. Pay is annualised and paid as a monthly salary throughout the year.
