Climax Studios is a renowned game development studio with a rich history of creating immersive digital experiences. We are seeking an experienced Senior Gameplay Systems Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of a major AAA console title.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a team of passionate and highly experienced designers. As a Senior Gameplay Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing core gameplay systems, working closely with the team and stakeholders to ensure the project's vision is met.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating engaging gameplay features and mechanics on AAA console titles, with experience working in Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprinting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and take ownership of core gameplay systems
  • Work closely with the team and stakeholders to ensure project vision is met
  • Design and implement engaging gameplay features and mechanics
  • Collaborate with the team to create a cohesive and immersive game world
  • Contribute to the development of the game's overall design and direction

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Gameplay Systems Designer on AAA console titles
  • Proven experience working in Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprinting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
