Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team as an Engine Development and Testing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and testing engine and aftertreatment systems. Your tasks will include analyzing test data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and simulating diagnostic and control system performance using Simulink and MATLAB.

You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, working on a wide range of activities, from catalyst and hardware selection to performance evaluation, mapping, and proof of concept testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test engine and aftertreatment systems.
- Analyze test cell, pilot vehicle, and field test data to evaluate hardware and software performance.
- Collaborate with Test Operations function to produce test instructions, scripts, and logging files for engine dynamometer testing and pilot vehicle testing.
- Support cross-functional design reviews by providing review packs, including requirements definition, tuning rationale, and test results.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Good knowledge of MATLAB, MS Office (Excel and Word), and programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Methodical and data-based approach to problem-solving.
- Strong team working skills and communication skills.
- Knowledge of diesel engine and/or aftertreatment architecture an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.

Salary
$70,000 - $90,000 per year.
