Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Facilities Manager to join our team to ensure the maintenance of our estate, including buildings, facilities, and Health and Safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of maintenance is met to satisfy regulatory and statutory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day, medium, and long-term maintenance of our estate to provide a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
- Oversee the facilities team and associated contractors to ensure compliance with statute, guidance, and best practice.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the maintenance and upkeep of our estate.
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
- Relevant health and safety qualifications or willingness to work towards them.
- Experience of managing an estate at a strategic level in the public or private sector.
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
- Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
