We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Critical Care Practice Development nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the skills and confidence of our continually developing team.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to implement change to improve patient care. You will be responsible for creating an environment that encourages staff education, work-based competencies, and continued professional development.

Key responsibilities include delivering educational programs, providing support and supervision to ward staff, and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to develop standards and programmes of care. You will also ensure that effective communication exists between yourself, nursing colleagues, medical staff, and patients and/or their relatives.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will possess excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. You will be adaptable and able to deal with changing workloads, as well as have the ability to plan and deliver education and training at all levels.

Salary: £44,414 - £62,847 per annum (inclusive of DHR)
