Job DescriptionThis role involves working with multi-discipline engineering teams on EPCM or EPC projects to ensure process design meets the required safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing process safety elements within budget and planning, including change control and consistency of process design with other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in internal and external design reviews and ensure design acceptance by the client.
- Lead Engineer Process for one project or a portfolio of projects, making independent decisions on issues.
- Provide expert technical support within Process Engineering.
To be considered for this role, you must have more than 3 years of experience as Lead / Senior Engineer Process in multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in one of the mentioned sectors. You should have deep knowledge of Process engineering and design, with a sound understanding of other disciplines (Automation, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and EC&I). Experience with the latest tools for process design, such as process simulation and other software, is essential. Additionally, you should have experience in process safety, including HAZID, HAZOP, CHAZOP, PHA, SIL, LOPA, DSEAR, and pressure relief. A strong background in a mainstream process industry, such as oil & gas, chemicals, or conventional energy, is also required. You should hold an MEng / MSc / BSc / BEng in Process / Chemical Engineering and be Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred). Finally, a sound understanding of current British and European Standards is necessary.
We estimate the salary for this role to be £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
