Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional primary school known for its commitment to educational excellence.

The successful candidate will work alongside skilled educators to support student learning, encourage positive behaviors, and contribute to a thriving school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they receive targeted assistance and encouragement.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students.
  • Contribute to lesson planning and assessment by offering feedback on student progress and learning outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting, is required.
  • Strong understanding of primary education and child development principles.
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs (SEN experience is highly desirable).
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification, are preferred.
