Job Role:

Interaction Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of agricultural engineering equipment to support the growth of their engineering team.

We are seeking skilled Plant and Agricultural field service engineers to maintain, repair, and service a range of agricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, balers, etc.)
  • Travel to customer sites to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest quality
  • Carry out diagnostics to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery
  • Work on engines, batteries, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  • Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience (advantageous)
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
What We Offer:
  • 32 days holiday including bank holidays - increasing with service
  • All overtime after 37.5 hours midweek, x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays (£22.50 per hour)
  • Plenty of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours)
  • Additional £5,850pa / Average (15 hours) : Additional £17,550pa
  • Holiday overtime pay - paid in May (£1,500 paid last year)
  • Ongoing commitment to training and progression
  • Pension scheme - 3% employee minimum, 8% employer
  • Company van, Fuel Card, mobile phone, etc.
  • All Travel Time, Expenses paid from home to/from site
