Job Summary

Transocean is seeking a highly skilled Driller to join our team in Brazil. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment, monitoring well conditions, and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate drilling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor well conditions and recognize, interpret, and respond to downhole conditions
  • Perform drilling-related operations such as directional drilling, working stuck pipe, and running and cementing casing strings
  • Supervise and direct operations in the picking up or laying down of tubular and all drilling-related equipment
  • Ensure that the solid control equipment and mud mixing operations are being monitored constantly

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates
  • Successful completion of at least one D-CAP Assessment
  • Knowledge of all technical calculations required for the safe operation within the drilling operations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid Well Control certificate
