About the Role:
Trinity House Group is partnering with a market-leading SME business in Leicester to recruit a Financial Controller. We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Accountant to join the business and support various commercial projects. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will complete Group Management Accounts and collaborate with the wider commercial finance team to deliver accurate analysis and management information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the preparation of month end Management Accounts.
  • Prepare monthly schedules and internal controls implementation.
  • Bank and General Ledger reconciliations for company bank accounts.
  • Preparation and submission of month and year end accounts.
  • Supervise prepayments and accruals with variance analysis.
  • Develop robust controls and reporting.
  • Support the external auditors in the review and completion of the statutory accounts.
  • Preparation of the annual financial statements and as well preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial information and business partnering support.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant with proven experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financials into meaningful business recommendations.
