Manufacturing Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plant Manager to lead our Enniskillen Sawmilling operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our sawmilling site, driving continuous improvement, and achieving our strategic and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) performance
- Lead production teams to achieve high-quality output and meet customer demands
- Drive process improvements and technological advancements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Manage new projects and capital development initiatives to enhance our operations
- Oversee financial control and ensure effective resource allocation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
We are looking for a seasoned operations leader with a proven track record in heavy industry operations and manufacturing. You should have a strong background in lean management, with experience in implementing and sustaining lean initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
