Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Midlands Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at GEL Resourcing. This is a full-time, permanent role with an estimated salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a mobile medical unit to various sites in the Midlands, conducting health surveillance, and delivering health promotion initiatives. They will also undertake regular overnight stays to ensure the provision of an exceptional occupational health service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a mobile medical unit to sites in the Midlands, ensuring timely and safe transportation of equipment and personnel.
  • Conduct health surveillance, including Audiometry, Spirometry, BMI, Blood Pressure, and Drug & Alcohol testing, as required by clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Deliver health promotion initiatives to employees, focusing on prevention and early intervention strategies.
  • Undertake regular overnight stays to provide 24/7 support and maintain high standards of occupational health services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in occupational health, preferably within a similar role or industry.
  • Full UK driving licence, valid for driving large vehicles.
